Previous British Broadcasting Corporation Specialists Participate in Members of Parliament's Questioning Following Assertions of Partiality in Leaked Memorandum
We open with questions from Tory Member of Parliament Caroline Dinenage, who oversees the group.
She opens by offering background to the unauthorized memo written by Michael Prescott and released in a daily publication.
"I don't want the British Broadcasting Corporation slanting this way or that way, My only wish is for it balanced, fair and just," he states.
When asked if he considers the British Broadcasting Corporation is institutionally biased, the adviser answers: "No I don't. It is important to note, tons of stuff the BBC creates is exceptional - including documentary and entertainment content."
But he adds: "There exists real work that must be undertaken at the BBC."
The second ex-adviser British Broadcasting Corporation consultant interviewed by the panel, Caroline Daniel, states she takes the British Broadcasting Corporation with great importance and that it has a "ongoing system and active debate" across fluid and multifaceted subjects.
"Did the BBC willing to conduct a genuine conversation and argument and take action?" she asks herself. "From my perspective, affirmative, they were."
