Mohamed Salah Extends Statement to Liverpool Dressing Room, Discloses Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has disclosed that Mohamed Salah expressed regret to the entire Liverpool squad after the uproar from his recent interview.
The Fallout
Salah was left out from a European match subsequent to criticising the club and suggesting his rapport with Arne Slot had soured.
“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘If I’ve affected anybody, please accept my apology.’”
The manager has refused to disclose on whether he received a personal apology from the veteran striker.

Jones insisted that the dressing room atmosphere was unchanged. “He was the exact same Mo, he had a big smile on his face and we all treated him normally,” the midfielder explained.
He also noted that a player's desire to start is a positive trait. “I understand there are certain ways you can go about things,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just not start, then I think that’s concerning.”
Positive Results
Liverpool's form have been impressive in the period after the situation. He feels the outburst were not intended to cause disruption.
“When there’s been any sort of anger, it’s always been from a place of caring,” Jones concluded. “That chapter is closed and we’re building chemistry, performing and on a positive run.”
